Description:
- Habit and Habitat: a small tree of quick growth, 2-20m high with spreading branches.
- Distribution: The plant is common as a street tree in Brisbane.
- Morphology:
Leaf: Paripinnate, leaflets 6-14 pairs, oblong, emarginated, mucronate.
Inflorescence: Panicles of corymbose.
Flower: yellow in colour. Calyx divided, petals 5, subequal, Stamens 10, 3 sterile.
Androceium: stamens 10, anthers are erected and basifixed.
Gynoceium: Ovary superior, linear and grooved.
Fruit: Pod flat, brown. Flowering and Fruiting Time: August-May.
Seeds: seeds are edible. - Propagation: By seeds.
